1. Owner all but admits it’s a flip (“recently purchased” from a shop -_-)

2. Calls it perfect in title, then calls it near-perfect in ad. He put in speakers or some shit but didn’t fix the other problems...

3. Dead battery

4. Shattered windshield (why???)

5. THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS... given everything else?

6. What the fuck is he doing in the first photo

7. Description makes me wonder how much he’s actually driven it

Sounds like a young kid bought it from a shop who bought it from an owner who gave up on it. The kid buys it cheap,immediately sets about getting a better sound system in it because that is definitely job 1 right?. He soon realizes it has a host of other problems he has no idea how or $ to fix and is trying to unload it.

I had an '89 GT-S in college that I got as a hand me down from my dad's wife. Mine was black though. I had a lot of fun in that car. It wasn't a drag racer, but it was a lot of fun on back roads.

Now, I would tally up the repairs then ask what he has done. Nothing? then he gets nothing. Actually deduct windshield from price.

Now hows the Body, rust free? Will it be nice in 10 years? Auto or stick?

Depends on what you want, but people are wanting something comparable for Auto. How much to DD?

How much to convert auto one to stick?

nice car, getting harder to find. I’d be on the fence at this price, and with the suspicious things you’ve mentioned. But a rust free body might be worth the gamble.
